You might have seen our recent giveaway of the pretty nifty Toas Tite cookware products. They’re a throw back to the past when these tools were used more often, but they’re making a comeback. I think they’re such fun to use with the family and actually make great gifts for people who cook small meals, too. They make single size sandwiches out of pretty much any type of bread or tortilla, filled with ingredients of your choice.
We’d love to hear from you – are you cooking with Toas Tites? What could you make that would be perfect for a Ramadan Iftar or Suhoor Meal? Show us by using the hashtag #ToastiteRamadanRecipes. Your picture and/or video recipe could be featured on My Halal Kitchen during the month of Ramadan!
Here are some tips and recipe videos to inspire your very own. See how and where you can share your recipes at the end of this post:
When using the Toas-Tite product, use real butter or an olive oil spray to ‘grease’ the Toas Tite before adding any bread or tortilla OR butter the bread but place the buttered part on the outside so that it sits on the product rather than facing the inside of the sandwich pie.
